In the of telecommunications, data retention (or data preservation) generally refer to the storage of call detail record(CDRs) of telephony and transaction data (IPDRs) by government and commercial organisations. In the case of government data retention, the data that is stored is usually of telephone calls made and received, emails sent and received and web sites visited. Location data also collected

Simultaneous data transmission

Data transmission is called "simple" if there are only two machines communicating, or if only a single piece of data is sent. Otherwise, it is necessary to install several transmission lines or to share the line among several different communication actors.

Encoding of transmission signals

In order for data to be exchanges, an encording must be chosen for the tranmission signals. This depends basically on the physical medium used to transfer the data, the guaranteed data integrity and tranmission speed.

Data transmission medium

In order for data transmission to occur, there must be a transmission line, also called transmission channel, between the two machines.

These transmission channels ara made up of several segments that allow the data to circulate in the form of electromagnatic, electrical, light or even acoustic waves.So in fact, it is a vibratory phenomenon that is propagated over the physical medium.

Salam....ok untuk minggu nie ape yang saya dapat simpul kan sebagai kesimpulan bagi tajuk data transmission ialah penghantaran data adalah pemindahan data dari titik ke titik yang sering digambarkan sebagai isyarat elektro-magnetik ke atas fizikal titik ke titik. Sebagai contohnya ialah, wayar tembaga, gentian optik, saluran komunikasi tampa wayar,(hanfon), dan media storan. Istilah ini biasa merujuk kepada komunikasi digital(iaitu sedikit aliran digital), tatapi mungkin termasuk penghantan data analog dan sebagainya. Ada banyak lagi yang boleh sy simpulkan,so kamu boleh merujuk kpd perkara2 di bawah.




DATA TRANSMISSION?????

Data transmission is the transfer of data to point-to-point often represented as an electromagnetic signal over a physical pointt-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication channel. For example:copper wires, optical fibers, wireless communication channel, and storage media. The term usually refers to digital communication(i.e. degital bit stream) but many include analog data transmission as well.

Data transmission is a subset of the field of data communication, which also includes computer nerworking or computer communication applications and networking protocols.....for example routing and switching.

TELEKOMUNIKASI

Telekomunikasi pada dasarnya merupakan telekomunikasi elektronik jarak jauh, sama ada satu atau dua hala. Ini termasuklah komunikasi menggunakan radio, televisyen dan komputer. Banyak jenis maklumat boleh dihantar melalui sistem telekomonikasi termasuklah suara dan muzik, gambar dan gambar boleh bergerak, fail komputer dan aplikasi serta data telegraf. Pusat telekomunikasi moden terlibat dalam masalah penghantaran jumlah maklumat yang banyak dalam jarak yang jauh tampa mengalami kerosakan data disebabkan oleh faktor bising dan ganguan. Sistem telekomunikasi merupakan semua sistem atau kompenen yang terlibat dalam proses penghantaran maklumat tersebut.
